2012 Laos

My Brother in-laws and his friend (in blue polo shirt). (posted by 黃有為)

We flew from Saigon to Vientiane via Phnom Penn arrived after dark. A land locked country with only 7 million people. My brother in-laws' class mate (moved back to Laos from Aust.) picked us up from the airport with his dual-cab ute. The kids were thrilled as they could ride among the luggages! (legally) Vientiane is a small and compact city, most of the attractions around the city are within walking or a short tu-tu/taxi ride. Our tour including accommodation was booked through my Bro in-laws friend including cars for 2 days (not really neccessary). The hotel was right at city centre. He is really well connected that make a world of difference to our trip. We stayed in Vientiane for 2 nights then flew north to Luang Prabang for another 3 nights before going to Dong Hoi via Ha Noi (overnight at Ha Noi).

  1. You should try then you can tell how it taste. If it's good then you can make the soup at home without costing money. There're so many ants in every house's back yard and footpath in here.
