古人說：「百世修得同船渡，千世修來共枕眠。」

有一個故事說一對恩愛夫妻，垂垂老去，互囑身後事。丈夫說希望自己可以比妻子遲走數天，妻子不悅，追問何故，丈夫解釋：

「人世間之最痛，莫過於生離死別，擔心您難以承受，我身為漢子，寧願一力肩擔。待整理愛妻身後事罷，我當追隨於天上地下，再續前緣。」

有感人世間夫妻之恩愛，莫過於此。

註：好友徐錦安老兄之父母最近相隔十數天，雙雙辭世。徐伯伯和徐伯母生前和藹可親，夫妻之情甚篤。祝願他倆早登極樂，再續前緣。
