back in 1991, Chi & I flew to California for David's wedding ( David's wedding in 1991 ), after a few days in San Francisco, we started our road trip from Oakland, from Hwy 101 we got to the beautiful beach town of Carmel, then drove along the scenic Pacific coastal Hwy 1, stopped frequently at many stunning lookouts along the coast, stayed overnight in San Luis Obispo, lunched in Santa Barbara the next day and continued to LA. The drive was slow paced since most of the Hwy 1 is constructed along cliffs and the Pacific ocean, but the stunning ocean view is 2nd to none. That was and still is our most memorable road trip.
